The Cooper Coast off Waterford offers great opportunities to “rock hop” and develop paddling skills in dynamic conditions and as with a “Spring Tide” this should add some spice and fun!
These days are aimed at aspiring level 3 paddlers who are ready to paddle dynamic and challenging water. A roll is not essential but preferable.
Skills will be assessed for training log book.
The sea temperature will be as low as 6 degrees Celsius it is essential that participants have the right equipment to stay warm for the day.
The weather will dictate the meet location and we may combine rock hopping and surf as conditions dictate so make sure you check the final meeting point on the day/night before. In the event of extreme weather we may move the day to a rough water river to develop skills.
Proposed meet is Tramore Harbour but we will confirm that on the day before the paddle.
Get on water at about 10-00
